So your previously released album is headed towards the Billboard 200. That’s enough for most artists to take a load off for an increment of time; unless your an artist by the name of FUTURE. If you put yourself in this mans shoes, you take no vacation, you simply release another album approximately a week later.
The rapper from Atlanta GA, promised and delivered last Friday with his self titled project. This week he’s proven loyal again once more with the release of HNDRXX, which has feature spots from The Weeknd on an early track titled “Coming Out Strong” and Rihanna towards the end of the project with “Selfish”.
Future’s self titiled LP has already satisfied a number of ears with hits such as Rent Money, Draco and Mask Off. Now he’s chasing chart history, having the opportunity of debuting at No. 1 on the March 11th dated Billboard survey with approximately 150,000 equivalent units. Assuming that this second project does just as well, Future will be the first artist to debut at No. 1 in consecutive frames.
This is the album that Future claims he’s “always wanted to make” so in return hopefully it’ll be one that we all want to hear. With constant controversy surrounding his relationships, whether it be with the mother of one of his children Ciara, or former business partner/friend Rocko, the content of these projects makes pettiness sound so good.
